Drancy 1943: The Big Escape 70 Jewish prisoners dig a tunnel to escape from Drancy transit camp, working in shifts day and night for three months. Only a few meters from freedom, their plan is discovered by the SS guards. Fourteen of them are immediately arrested and tortured before being deported to the death camps.
